I’ve planned a 3-day itinerary for a trip to San José, Costa Rica
I have been to Costa Rica before, and I must say it’s a beautiful place to visit. The culture, the Costa Ricans make you feel safe and are so welcoming, the atmosphere, the history, I just absolutely enjoyed my stay. This itinerary is not what I did in Costa Rica, but I decided to look into some other things to do next time I travel to Costa Rica, so I decided to share it for all the travelers :). I also did price break downs to make things more convenient.
Day 1:
Morning: Visit the Pre-Columbian Gold Museum ($10 admission) to learn about Costa Rican history and culture.
* Afternoon: Explore the Mercado Central for a taste of local life and try some traditional dishes like casados or empanadas (meals from $5-$10).
* Evening: Head to the Barrio Amón neighborhood for a cultural experience, with galleries, street art, and restaurants like La Casa de Toño for authentic Costa Rican cuisine (meals from $15-$25).
Day 2:

* Afternoon: Take a walking food tour (around $60-$70) to sample various local specialties, like tamales, ceviche, and fresh fruit.
